Workplace MAWIS (Magnesium Wire Injection System) serves for batch production of ductile cast iron in ladle by a method of feeding cored wire injection into ladle. This technology is not only economical, accurate and repeatable but also very friendly to environment. Complete process of the treatment runs in a chamber. Production sequences are automatically controlled by PLC with executive software performing calculation of cored wire. Reactive fumes generated during the process are drawn off and caught in efficient filters and cannot escape into environment.
