From August 2–4, the international STEELSIM conference took place in Třinec, attended by representatives of the VÚHŽ Automation Division. They delivered a presentation on the topic “Numerical Simulations for the Development of a Steel Level Sensor in the Mold.” At the VÚHŽ booth, they also exchanged information on current situation in the steel industry.
The conference brought together 122 participants, primarily from Europe. Representatives from companies in the USA, Canada, China, India, and Korea also attended.
Although the current situation in the European steel industry is not favorable, the outlook for the future remains optimistic.
