The VÚHŽ Tool shop successfully processes thin-walled centrifugally cast rings made of Ni-Resist material, which were cast at the VÚHŽ Foundry. Ni-Resist is an austenitic cast iron, which is an alloyed material with a high nickel content. All processed rings met dimensional and geometric tolerances according to strict drawing documentation. Thanks to the successfully mastered technology of processing thin-walled rings, serial deliveries are expected to begin for a major customer operating in the aerospace industry.
