VÚHŽ presented two recently developed products at the Oceláři (Steelmakers) 2025 conference in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm:
1. Electromagnetic sensor for continuous billet casting
2. Electromagnetic detection of slag in a shielding tube
It responded to the demand of customers in Europe and Asia, who have been showing interest in these measurements for a longer time.
Both products have already been successfully tested at Třinec Iron and Steel Works. The first order from a foreign steel mill has already been signed and the second is on the way.
