The VÚHŽ Coating Center has developed a new coating for highly stressed cutting tools. The coating has achieved excellent results for a customer who is engaged in milling deep holes in forgings made of carbon and stainless steel. After tuning the coating, the tool life was increased by 50% compared to the original coating.
