The tool divisoun successfully realized the production of milling cutters for trimming standard and special shapes of electrode caps and it started regular deliveries. The first delivery was directed to a major automobile manufacturer in the Czech Republic. The cutters are surface treated with special PVD coatings developed within the VÚHŽ company. The service life of the delivered tools was longer than in the case of foreign tools. Currently, two types of these milling cutters are supplied and a gradual expansion of the product line is planned.
